Mikel Arteta and Edu can grant Arsenal fans’ dream January transfer signing but on one condition

Arsenal fans have had their say regarding the club’s transfer plans this month.

Manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu certainly have been working hard since the January window opened – fulfilling their promise to trim the first-team squad by allowing Sead Kolasinac, William Saliba, Matt Macey, and Sokratis to leave on loan or temporarily.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have brought in two new faces in the shape of Omar Rekik and Mat Ryan – the latter joining on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion until the end of the season.

But there’s still time for at least one more signing – as well as Mesut Ozil’s exit – as deadline day is not until 11pm on Monday 1 February 2021.

However, the 22-year-old is not Arsenal fans’ dream January signing.

That honour goes to Norwich City’s Emi Buendia instead.
