Inter are considering offering Christian Eriksen to Arsenal as part of their bid to sign Lucas Torreira, according to reports in Italy.
The Serie A club are actively looking to offload Eriksen this month as the Denmark international has failed to make an impact following his £17 million move from Tottenham a year ago.
As well as being open to a permanent deal, Inter are also understood to be willing to let Eriksen leave on loan for the remainder of the season.
According to Tuttosport, Antonio Conte has asked Inter’s hierarchy to sign a defensive midfielder this month and Torreira is being considered.
And the report claims that Inter are open to using Eriksen in their efforts to land Torreira from Arsenal.
The Uruguay international is currently spending the season on loan at Atletico Madrid but he has struggled to secure a regular role under Diego Simeone and has started just two games in La Liga.
