Mesut Ozil has received some more brutal jabs from Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan in his farewell message.
The German midfielder is on the verge of confirming his arrival at Turkish side Fenerbahce after agreeing his exit from the Gunners.
While the 32-year-old failed to make a Premier League or Europa League appearance this season, he enjoyed some interaction with fans on Twitter.
But this also sparked a rivalry with the Good Morning Britain host, who has taken several jibes at Ozil throughout the transfer saga.
And his farewell message held nothing back in his sarcastic comments on the Gunners’ No.10.
Sharing an image of Ozil looking angry on the bench against Southampton from last season, Morgan wrote on Sunday: “Many thanks, Mesut Ozil, for your outstanding contribution to Arsenal FC.

“I hope we can replace you with someone as dedicated.”
Morgan’s post came as images emerged of the midfielder on a plane with wife Amine on a private jet with the Fenerbahce flags.
Landing on Sunday night, he was snapped holding up a scarf with the Turkish side’s colours while being swarmed by fans.
A deal was agreed earlier in the week between Ozil and the north London side to end his £350,000-a-week contract early.

As the 32-year-old sent his farewell messages, it saw Morgan write on Twitter: “Loved Mesut Ozil when he first came to Arsenal.
“World class player with a sublime natural talent. Now I can’t wait to see the back of the lazy manipulative £350,000-a-week wastrel.
“You could have been a club legend, Mesut – but you just couldn’t be bothered. Bye.”
