TV host Piers Morgan has launched a final scathing attack on departing Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
The German playmaker looks set to finally depart the Emirates after reportedly agreeing a deal with the club to cancel his contract allowing him to move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Ozil joined the Gunners in 2013 and made an instant impression and helped the club to three FA Cups in his first four years at the club.
However, after signing a hefty £350,000 a week contract in 2018, the player’s form dipped, leading to him being dropped from the squad completely this season by manager Mikel Arteta.
Morgan, an outspoken fan of the club, took to Twitter in response to news, firing a parting shot at the 2014 World Cup winner.

“Loved @MesutOzil1088 when he first came to Arsenal,” wrote the Good Morning Britain presenter.
“World class player with a sublime natural talent. Now I can’t wait to see the back of the lazy manipulative £350,000-a-week wastrel.
“You could have been a club legend, Mesut – but you just couldn’t be bothered. Bye.”
Ozil arrived at Arsenal from Real Madrid in a Transfer Deadline day deal in the summer of 2013.
The German made 254 appearances for the north Londoners, scoring 44 goals and registering 77 assists
