Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is willing to wait until the summer window as he searches a transfer away from the Scottish champions.

However, Football Insider now reports that the 22-year-old is happy to remain with Celtic for another six months before making a switch in the summer, eyeing a transfer that is more conducive to his career development.

Edouard has 11 goals from 23 games in all competitions this season but was named the Scottish Player of the Year last season with a prolific 22 goals in 27 Scottish Premier League games.

Emery tried with Ozil

Unai Emery admitted that he ‘tried’ to get the best out of Mesut Ozil, who ended the Spaniard’s tenure at the club at loggerheads with the former Arsenal manager.

Arsenal replaced Emery with Mikel Arteta a little over a year ago, and Emery has since moved to Villarreal, where he is enjoying a successful initial run. But in an exclusive interview with football.london, he admitted that he tried his best with Ozil.
