Yves Bissouma transfer stance as Arsenal prepare Brighton offer

Arsenal are interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma, has revealed.

The 24-year-old Mali international, who joined the Seagulls from French outfit Lille back in 2018, has attracted no shortage of interest from a range of big-name Premier League clubs in recent months, following a string of fine performances for the South Coast club.

Although Arsenal, who will be seeking a fifth successive victory in all competitions when they face Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday evening, are keen on landing Bissouma, understands that the Gunners will wait until the summer before launching a move for his services.

Arsenal are keen on signing Norwich City ace Emiliano Buendia in an attempt to add a new creative spark to their midfield options, with Julian Brandt of Borussia Dortmund also under consideration.

With that in mind, as well as finances proving tight for a plethora of clubs right now because of the ongoing coronavirus troubles, Arsenal are poised to hold off until the summer when it comes to exploring the idea of signing Bissouma, who has racked up 16 appearances in the Premier League this term, scoring one goal.

To hand Arsenal an advantage in the race to sign the former Lille midfield ace, has been told that ‘he loves the Premier League’ and would love to play for the Gunners over any other club.
