We ‘signed’ Emi Buendia for Arsenal in January with incredible results

Norwich City midfielder Emi Buendia is being heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this month, with the Argentine showcasing some great form in the Championship so far this season.

The creative midfielder has scored seven goals and registered six assists for the Canaries in the 2020/21 season so far, playing a key role in City’s impressive campaign, as Daniel Farke’s side currently sit at the top of the league table and one of the favourites for promotion.

Amid all the transfer speculation, football.london understands that Buendia is high up on Arsenal’s list of targets, but the club are yet to make a formal approach in regards to looking to secure a deal for his signature.

With neither Willian or Nicolas Pepe convincing for the Gunners on the right side of attack, Buendia would offer a creative option in that position, with the Argentine also capable of playing as a number ten.
