Alexandre Lacazette, Granit Xhaka and Bukayo Saka were all on target as Mikel Arteta’s men pulled off a 3-1 win over the Blues at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool plan Balogun swipe

Liverpool are said to be eyeing an audacious move to take Folarin Balogun away from the Emirates Stadium.

Balogun is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer and has rejected previous offers for a new deal over a lack of first-team opportunities.

The 19-year-old is yet to feature in the Premier League for the Gunners this season, having to settle for four Europa League appearances.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool are now looking to tease him away from Arsenal, free to negotiate a deal from January, though Arsenal are expected to make another offer with other clubs also said to be circling.

Ozil, who is currently exiled from Mikel Arteta’s plans, is out of contract in the summer and is not keen on leaving before then.

But even so, Juventus are said to be eyeing a January transfer for the German with talks already ongoing, according to Tuttosport.

It’s said Juventus are trying to lower Arsenal’s asking price, unwilling to pay over the odds given Ozil is not part of the Gunners’ plans and even more importantly, out of contract at the end of the season.
