Arsenal transfer rumours: Fabio Vieira interest, Emi Buendia bids, Matteo Guendouzi move

Arsenal have suffered a poor start to their Premier League season, and the highly concerning form may well force Mikel Arteta into the transfer market in January.

The mid-season transfer window opens in just over two weeks’ time and Arteta will be looking to identify potential additions that could improve his squad.

The Gunners also have some players who are set to leave the Emirates Stadium when the window does open. Here is a round-up of the latest transfer stories and rumours concerning Arsenal.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has now established himself as part of the Portuguese club’s first-team and has made seven league appearances since the start of the season.

Juventus have also been linked with a move for Vieira, but the Gunners are set to give the Italian side some stiff competition.

Vieira has a £27million release clause in his current contract, it is claimed, but the coronavirus crisis could force Porto to sell the highly-rated youngster for less than they value him for.

Norwich prepared for Buendia bids

Norwich City are prepared for any bids coming in for Emi Buendia, according to Sky Sports.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for Buendia ever since the Canaries were relegated back down to the Championship.

Possible replacements are already being lined up by Norwich for the Argentine playmaker, the report claims. However, he won’t come cheap, with the current Championship leaders demanding £25million for his services.

Hertha eye permanent Guendouzi deal

Hertha Berlin are interested in signing on-loan Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi on a permanent deal, according to Der Tagesspiegel via talkSPORT.
