Mesut Ozil’s Arsenal exit in the January transfer window is ‘90% sure’.
So says Fenerbahce congress member Murat Zorlu, with Ozil having been frequently linked with the Turkish club after being frozen out at the Emirates by Mikel Arteta.
Ozil has not played for Arsenal since March, and was left out of Arteta’s Premier League and Europa League squads earlier this season.
The Gunners are desperate to sell the 32-year-old in January to avoid him leaving for free when his contract ends next summer.
But his mammoth wages have proved a problem, with the former Germany international having signed a £350-per-week deal during Arsene Wenger’s final season in charge.

“I would say 90% he will join us in one month.”
Ozil has been regularly linked with a move to one of Turkey’s top clubs. He is of Turkish descent, while his wife was named Miss Turkey in 2014.

It remains to be seen whether that tweet proves to be the start of a goodbye from Ozil.
He has often been criticised for his lack of work rate and has struggled to fit in under either Arteta or his predecessor Unai Emery.
However, Arsenal have sorely lacked creativity from midfield…
