Jose Mourinho has warned his Tottenham players that Willian is still ‘dangerous’ despite his recent poor form for Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s side travel to Spurs on Sunday for the first north London derby of the season.

Mourinho managed Willian during their time together at Chelsea and was reportedly keen to bring the Brazilian winger to Tottenham this summer.

But it was the Gunners who won the race for the 32-year-old and snapped him up on a free transfer from Chelsea.

Willian started brightly with two assists on his debut, but the Brazilian has registered just more assist in the following 12 games after making his first Arsenal appearance.

But Mourinho believes the Brazilian is still ‘one of the best players in the Premier League’ and admits Spurs lost out on his signature due to financial reasons.
