Dani Ceballos claims he immediately settled his differences with David Luiz following their bust-up during a training session at Arsenal and believes the incident proves the team has ‘character’.
In a session during the international break, the two players came to blows with David Luiz allegedly hitting the Spanish midfielder in the face.
The Brazilian was reportedly unhappy with a challenge from Ceballos, while players and coaching staff were forced to intervene after the midfielder was struck on the nose.
Both players held clear-the-air talks and apologised to the rest of the Arsenal squad, while Mikel Arteta moved to play down the severity of the row.
And while Ceballos admits he did not show ‘exemplary behaviour’, the on-loan midfielder from Real Madrid believes the incident shows ‘Arsenal is alive’.
‘I’m not going to say that there wasn’t a clash or a scuffle,’ Ceballos told The Sun.
