Arsenal morning headlines as William Saliba to take pay cut to leave, Szoboszlai transfer boost

Here are your Arsenal morning headlines for Thursday, 26 November.

Saliba wants Gunners exit

Arsenal defender William Saliba is prepared to take a significant wage cut to leave the club in January and find first-team football elsewhere.

That is according to French TV station Canal Plus, as reported by Foot-sur7 and cited by CaughtOffside, which claims the central defender wants a loan exit.

The 19-year-old appears to have become frustrated with his situation at Arsenal and now wants first-team football, and a loan return to Saint-Etienne is a possibility at this stage.

Saliba joined Arsenal last summer but spent the previous campaign on loan at Saint-Etienne and has yet to find his way into Mikel Arteta’s starting line-up this term.

What Camavinga would bring to Arsenal

Rennes teenage star Eduardo Camavinga is the latest young prospect to emerge from Ligue 1 and appears destined for superstardom.

A report in football.london has outlined what the talented central midfielder would bring to Arsena, who have been linked with his signature.

Having become Rennes’ youngest ever played aged 16, Camavinga is now the side’s talisman and helped propel them to third in the standings last year.

Comfortable in a midfield duo or trio in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, Camavinga is an excellent passer and tackler.

His physical attributes are clear too. He is quick, strong and dynamic, and despite his age has not looked physically out of place in senior football.
