It’s been a slow start to the Premier League campaign for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.
Progress had been shows at the Emirates Stadium, but a goalless draw away to Leeds United showed more inconsistencies that prove to be something of a concern for the club’s supporters.
The international break was hardly ideal for Arteta either, losing Thomas Partey, Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac through respective issues.
The Gunners could be forced to look for more signings in the January window – which is now just over a month away from opening.

Gunners interested in Isco
Arsenal are interested in signing out-of-favour Real Madrid playmaker Isco in the January transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
Another Spanish publication, Marca, are reporting similar – that the 28-year-old has “his mind set” on leaving the Santiago Bernabeu when the mid-season window opens.
However, whereas the latter does not specifically mention the Gunners, the former does.
Fichajes claim that the north London-based side will look to improve its squad at the expense of Real Madrid, with Arteta having his eye on Isco – but Everton are also keen on the Spaniard.
Winks to Arsenal “too much hassle”
Kevin Phillips believes that a move to Arsenal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks would be “too much hassle”.
Winks hinted to Sky Sports that he could move away from Spurs due to a lack of first-team football under Jose Mourinho.
Phillips, when talking to Football Insider, said that teams would be “queuing up” to sign the England international, but also believes that Sol Campbell ‘s move from Spurs to the Gunners showed why it would be too much of a big call to make.
