Arsenal fans think they have spotted a Willian team selection hint vs Leeds United

Arsenal fans are speculating about who will start in attack against Leeds United.

The Gunners return to Premier League action on Sunday evening with a trip to Elland Road as they look to bounce back from the 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Aston Villa before the international break.

However, manager Mikel Arteta won’t have a fully fit Arsenal squad to choose from.

Long-term absentees Pablo Mari and Gabriel Martinelli are back in training, but are unavailable for selection, as is Thomas Partey who hasn’t recovered from the thigh injury he picked up against Villa.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac have also been ruled out of the Leeds clash after testing positive for Covid-19 whilst on international duty with Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina respectively.

With that said, the good news for Arteta ahead of the game is that his attacking options are at full strength.

Reiss Nelson is back in full training after missing the win over Molde as well as the Villa loss and is in contention alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Willian, Nicolas Pepe, and Eddie Nketiah to start up front at Elland Road.

But who will get the nod in Arteta’s front three?

Well, some Gunners supporters believe Willian won’t start following his trip to Dubai during the international break which was addressed by Arteta in his pre-match press conference.

“I had a conversation with him and explained what I was expecting,” Arteta said. “There are a lot of personal factors at the moment from our side we need to be their shoes.
