Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has revealed that he is an Arsenal supporter after his brace against Mikel Arteta’s side on Sunday evening.
Watkins starred as Villa shocked the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, putting three past them without a reply from the hosts.
The English forward has started life in the Premier League in fine form, netting a hat-trick against Liverpool in an unbelievable 7-2 victory last month, as well as firing two past Arsenal at the weekend.
Watkins first scored a header and then doubled his tally, putting the game beyond the Gunners with a lovely left-footed finish following a fine pass from Jack Grealish.

The 24-year-old arrived at Villa Park over the summer for £33m as his Brentford side narrowly missed out on promotion to the top-flight.
Speaking following Arsenal’s defeat to Villa, Watkins said to Sky Sports: “I’m not sure my grandad or uncle Baz are going to be too happy!
“They are Arsenal fans and I am an Arsenal fan myself, but I’m buzzing. I am sure they will love it really. I am over the moon.”
The Gunners thought they’d gone a goal down when John McGinn seemingly put the visitors ahead in North London, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
