Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has told Joe Willock to ‘keep doing what he’s doing’ in order to earn his chance to break into the club’s first-team.
The 21-year-old has starred for the Gunners in their three Europa League matches, scoring twice and assisting another, but has not yet made a Premier League appearance this season.
He scored Arsenal ‘s fourth during the closing stages of Thursday’s 4-1 win against Molde at the Emirates Stadium, drawing praise from Arteta following the final whistle.
However, the Spaniard challenged Willock to maintain his good form if he is to be considered for a top-flight appearance.

“I really like their approach they’re (youngsters) having, to make the difference, not just to play and be there,” he said.
“They want to make a difference for the team. They’re playing with a lot of personality.
“Keep doing what he’s (Willock) doing consistently and his chance will arrive.”
The North London outfit extended their lead at the top of Group B with Thursday’s comfortable victory over Molde ahead of a return to Premier League action on Sunday against Aston Villa.
“It was really important for us to win tonight and go on top of the group with a very convincing victory,” Arteta continued.
