Jose Mourinho says he is ‘uncomfortable’ with the prospect of Arsenal coach Albert Stuivenberg looking after Gareth Bale on Wales duty in the absence of Ryan Giggs.
The Dutchman is expected to take on a bigger role with the national team after Giggs was stood down from the side’s three upcoming matches following his arrest on suspicion of assault.
Stuivenberg has been part of Giggs’ coaching team since 2018 before also taking up a role under Mikel Arteta at the Emirates last year.

But Mourinho is very worried about Bale’s workload, having only just returned from injury, and has questioned whether an Arsenal coach should have such a big say over how much the Totteham winger plays over the two-week international break.
