Willock impresses alongside Nketiah, Willian disappoints – Arsenal player ratings vs Molde

Leno: His indecisive goal kick contributed to the opening goal for Molde. Had little to do after that and a surprise to many that Alex Runarsson wasn’t given another opportunity in this competition. 6.

Maitland-Niles: A confident performance. 6.

Mustafi: Caught out on the break and would have been exposed if he was facing a higher calibre opponent. 5.

Luiz: Good distribution and leadership to guide the Arsenal defence. 6.

Kolasinac: Missed a sitter in the second half and had little influence in the game. 5.

Xhaka: Played left-back in the second half. A solid performance from the versatile midfielder. 6.

Ceballos: Good through ball in the first half. Constant pressing of the opposition which was admired by Arteta on the sidelines. 7.

Willock: Continues to knock on the manager’s door for a place in the Premier League squad. Involved in the first two own goals and scored the third. 8.

Willian: Lack of accuracy on set pieces, unable to exert his influence in the game. A disappointing night. 6.

Pepe: In and out of the game. Scored a good goal and was dispossessed more than any other on the pitch. His risk-taking works on occasion but offered little threat in the final third. 6.

Nketiah: Had a goal ruled out for offside. Linked up well with Willock for the opening goal and looked bright when given the opportunity. 7.

Subs:

Cedric: A decent cameo and involved in the third goal. 6.

Saka: Arsenal looked better in attack when he came on and assisted Willock. Always a threat. 7.

Tierney: Not on long enough to be rated.

Elneny: Not on long enough to be rated.
