Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson has broken his silence amid Mikel Arteta’s challenge.
The 20-year-old has found himself on the fringes of the first-team in north London so far this season, racking up just four appearances, none of which have come in the Premier League.
Behind the likes of Willian, Nicolas Pepe, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the pecking order, there was talk of Nelson leaving on loan in the summer transfer window.

However, Arteta opted to keep Nelson after being impressed with him in training and also challenged the winger to make the most of the opportunities that are coming his way.
“We ended up with a large squad at the end of the transfer market,” explained Arteta last week.
“We had a few plans in mind with Reiss, one of them was to send him out on loan to get more minutes because of the competition we have upfront. The reality is that he’s been really good in training, he wants to stay here and fight for his place.
“He’s going to get chances in the right moment. Things are changing very quickly with injuries and he will get opportunities.
“It’s down to him whether he will take them or not.”
In one of his first social media posts since those comments from Arteta, Nelson appears to have reacted with a cryptic message.
“Just wait until you why God had you wait,” Nelson wrote on his Instagram stories. “What God is beyond what you could ever pray or think of.
“I pray that patience will come upon you as you wait on the Lord for what He has in store for you.”
