Emile Smith Rowe braced for first appearance of the season as Arsenal face Molde

Arsenal starlet Emile Smith Rowe could be involved for the Gunners tonight when they host Molde at the Emirates in the Europa League.

Smith Rowe is one of Arsenal’s brightest prospects from their Hale End academy and there is great hope he can have a long future at the club.

After playing a key role in keeping Huddersfield in the Championship last season while on loan, Smith Rowe had hoped to push for a first-team place this year but a shoulder injury has meant he’s missed the opening months of the campaign.

The 20-year-old is now fit and available for selection but manager Mikel Arteta has a near fully fit squad to choose from at the moment.

Arteta has used the Europa League to rest the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hector Bellerin and it could mean a place in the squad for Smith Rowe.

Meanwhile, another Arsenal academy graduate Joe Willock will be hoping for another strong performance after scoring last week against Dundalk.
