Arsenal director of football operations Huss Fahmy vacated his role as the club’s contract negotiator and becomes the latest high-profile boardroom figure to leave as part of a major reshuffle.
The Gunners have looked to streamline their operation this year, making 55 redundancies during the height of the pandemic as they overhauled their scouting network.
Head of recruitment, Francis Cagigao, was the biggest casualty of that cull, while Raul Sanllehi left his post as head of football not long after back in August.

Now Fahmy, who has played a key role in recruitment and contract negotiations – both with current players and targets – will be leaving the club too.
According to The Telegraph, Fahmy’s time at Arsenal will end next month with technical director Edu and chief executive Vinai Venkatesham still looking to reshape how Arsenal operate away from the pitch.
