Arsenal fans are not pleased with the refereeing appointment for their side’s Premier League clash with Manchester United this weekend.
The Premier League announced today that Mike Dean would be in charge for Sunday’s Old Trafford fixture, and Gunners fans are not happy.
Dean is often accused by fans of having a bias towards Man United with statistics showing he has given the Reds more penalties than any other team in the league during his career.
Though, he is yet to referee a Man United or Arsenal game so far this season, only taking charge of four games to-date, handing out 10 yellow cards and one red card.

Arsenal actually have a decent record with Dean in charge, winning almost half of their Premier League games with him in charge – 28 of 60.
The Gunners have lost only 13 games from their 60 games Dean has refereed, drawing 19 with only six red cards, three of them being straight dismissals.
What’s more, Arsenal have lost just once in their last 15 with Dean in charge, winning a whopping 12 and drawing the other two.
But due to Dean’s reputation with Man United, fans still aren’t exactly thrilled with the appointment of the 52-year-old for Sunday’s trip to Old Trafford when Arsenal will be hoping to bounce back from two straight league defeats.
Take a look below at what Arsenal fans have had to say on Twitter today.
