Arsenal’s first game following the October international break is a big one.
They face 2018 and 2019 Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium next weekend and can move eight points clear of Pep Guardiola’s side with victory in the day’s late kick-off.
Speaking of the Spaniard, he was faced with an injury crisis at the start of the new season, but that appears to be easing up ahead of the game against the Gunners.

However, one player who will certainly miss the game is striker Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazil international picked up a knock in City’s win over Wolves in their season opener and has subsequently missed games against Bournemouth, Leicester City, Burnley, and Leeds United.
Already without the services of Sergio Aguero, Guardiola revealed Jesus would be out of action for a month.
“We don’t have Sergio, we don’t have Gabriel,” he said. We have Liam [Delap]. We have many options. Cole Palmer can play as a striker too. We will see.
“Sergio still hasn’t trained and Gabriel was injured against Wolves so he will be out for a month.”
The good news for Guardiola is that Aguero has returned to training, although the Manchester Evening News have released the latest Man City injury news and expected return dates and the Argentine isn’t pencilled in for a return until after the Arsenal game.
He joins Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko as the three Man City players Guardiola will be without for the visit of Arsenal and Mikel Arteta.
