Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has hailed the rapid progression of the club’s latest senior England international Bukayo Saka.
The teenager committed his long-term future to the Gunners back in the summer after cementing his place as a regular first team player under Unai Emery’s successor.
Saka’s versatility has rendered him a major asset to Arteta and his early season performances were rewarded with a first call-up to Gareth Southgate’s senior Three Lions squad last week.
The 19-year-old subsequently made his debut in the 3-0 win over Wales in midweek and Arteta is confident the talented winger will not have been daunted at the prospect of playing alongside so many illustrious names.
Indeed, the Arsenal manager has noted a significant change in Saka’s maturity and personality over the course of the last couple of months and believes he is now fully at ease with his ever increasing status.
