Arsenal have confirmed their 25-man squad for the Europa League.
The Gunners begin their group stage fixtures at the end of the month, with games against Rapid Vienna, Dundalk and Molde to follow.
There is a general expectation that the competition will give Gunners boss Mikel Arteta flexibility to provide youngsters and fringe players in his squad with much needed minutes.
One of those players is Mesut Ozil, who has not featured at all so far this season.

And it appears the German’s chance of playing regularly has diminished even further with the confirmation that he has been left out of Arsenal’s Europa League, squad along with Sokratis.
As football.london revealed yesterday, Sokratis and Ozil were the two to pay the price for Arteta’s sizeable first team squad. Only 17 non-homegrown players could be named by Arsenal, who have 19 such players in their setup.
Neither Sokratis, who has been injured for much of the season, nor Ozil have featured this season and the two were and remain available for transfer should any club display an interest in them.
The decision to omit Ozil in particular, sparked a huge response on social media with many Arsenal supporters confused at the club’s refusal to play the midfielder.
One fan tweeted : “It’s evident that Arsenal lack creativity, what is the harm in including Ozil, I mean it will only help, this kinda treatment is stupid.”
Another wrote : “Sad ending to the story. Would love to know one day what has happened.”
A third said : “Gotta feel for Mesut. Many people don’t care but in 5-10 years time when we look back at this situation, we won’t be too proud of our opinions towards him and nothing much would change from the decision to not play him. It’s totally unnecessary…
