Arsenal fans want Houssem Aouar January transfer swoop after France debut

Houssem Aouar produced an impressive performance on his international debut for France on Wednesday night – leaving Arsenal fans desperate for him to join the club in January.

The Gunners reportedly saw a bid worth £32million rejected for Aouar this summer, with Lyon instead holding out for their £54million valuation in full.

After failing with their offer for the Frenchman, Mikel Arteta turned his attention to a deal for Thomas Partey, who completed a £45million switch from Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day.

While Arteta was clearly delighted to have signed Partey, Aouar showed the Arsenal boss what he is missing on his France bow last night.
