Some Arsenal fans have taken hope from the latest Gunners training footage.
Sky Sports News showed a clip of Arsenal training this morning in which Mesut Ozil shared a fist-pump with manager Mikel Arteta.
Ozil has been frozen out at Arsenal since last season’s restart amid issues over his contract.
The German has just one year remaining on his current deal which is worth around £350,000 per week.

And it’s thought the Gunners board are not happy with the situation, perhaps leading to his omission.
Ozil is yet to make it into an Arsenal squad this season and Arteta maintains that is for footballing reasons.
But the situation appears to be a little more complicated with some fans also largely unhappy with Ozil and his contract.
Though, the World Cup winner scored himself some much-needed brownie points this week by offering to pay the wages of beloved axed mascot Gunnersaurus for as long as he is still at the club.
On the back of that, some fans are getting excited following the fist-pump with Arteta.
Here’s what fans have said on social media.
