Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Wonderkids sign, William Saliba to leave on loan

This summer’s transfer window has partially closed.

Arsenal had until 11pm on Monday to finalise moves in and out at the Emirates Stadium as Mikel Arteta looked to further strengthen his squad after a strong start to the 2020/21 campaign.

Another midfielder was on the agenda, with Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar both heavily linked with a move to north London ahead of deadline day.

And the Gunners managed to seal a deal for the former after activating his £45m release clause at Atletico Madrid to make him the club’s fifth summer signing after Dani Ceballos, Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Alex Runarsson.

However, the window remains open for domestic transfers which means there could also be some more incomings and exits too as players look for fresh starts elsewhere.

With that said, here is a round-up of some of the latest Arsenal transfer rumours.

Ideho signs

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of 17-year old Joel Ideho following a very brief spell with Ajax’s Under-18s.

Developed in Willem II’s academy, the youngster can play off both wings but is more frequently used off the right.

This comes as the Gunners’ second recent arrival looking to bolster the Under-23s and Under-18s after the club’s initial business was done earlier in the window.
