To find out we loaded the popular football management simulation game Football Manager 2020 to have a bit of fun and try to predict Arsenal’s future with Partey in the team this season.
Thomas Partey ‘signs’ for Arsenal in 2020/21
To set up this simulation, we booted up the Football Manager 2020 editor and arranged for Atletico Madrid midfielder Partey to join Arsenal for his buyout clause on the game, which is £53 million.
We then simulated the entire 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons on the game, to see what kind of impact the Ghanaian could have at the Emirates Stadium from next season.
We also used the updated 20.4.0 Football Manager database, which includes all the latest transfers from around the world following the January transfer window.
