Jamie Redknapp has revealed his verdict on how he sees the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw playing out.
Arsenal face Manchester City in the pick of the ties after seeing off Liverpool and Burnley respectively, while Manchester United, who beat Brighton travel to Everton, who knocked out West Ham.
Meanwhile, Stoke also host Tottenham, and Newcastle will travel to Championship side Brentford for a chance to reach the semi-finals.
Having seen the draw play out, Redknapp admits that seeing Mikel Arteta face his former mentor Pep Guardiola is the match up that stands out.
And the former Liverpool midfielder also gave the lowdown on all three other ties.
Jamie Redknapp has given his verdict on the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw
“Great draws,” he told Sky Sports. “The one that stands out is Pep Guardiola vs Mikel Arteta – Arsenal are in really good form.
“It depends on what teams are put out but anything can happen and at this stage you’re really close to a major trophy.
“Everton are in good shape too with Dominic Calvert-Lewin in form. For Ole to get a trophy and quieten everyone down would be so important. And it’s a good draw for Tottenham – even though they’d want to be at home.

“Brentford-Newcastle is a tough one to call but I wouldn’t be surprised if Brentford were to edge that one.”
The quarter-final ties are due to take place on the week commencing December 21.
The one-legged semi-finals will then take place on the 5 or 6 of January, with the home side being determined by which club is drawn out first.
While the final is set to take place at Wembley on February 28.
