Arsenal could be set to receive a boost in their bid to land Lyon star Houssem Aouar.
The Gunners are still yet to strike a deal with the French giants who want around £45million for their star man.
Arsenal are struggling to get the money together to reach that valuation and they likely need departures to pull off a deal ahead of the October 5 deadline.
Time is of the essence but there could be a boost in the form of Lucas Torreira’s departure.

The Uruguayan midfielder, according to reports from Goal and Spanish outlet AS, is nearing a move to Atletico Madrid.
According to AS, everything is in place for Torreira to complete his move to the Spanish capital, but there is one issue.
Atletico need to shift Hector Herrera to pull off the deal and the Mexican hasn’t got a move in place just yet.
Still, Atleti are said to be hopeful of doing both deals ahead of the deadline and that’s good news for Arsenal.
The Gunners will save a hefty chunk on wages and there is also reportedly an option-to-buy on Atletico’s part.
Torreira is under contract at the Emirates Stadium until 2023.
