Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he’s a big fan of the squad Mikel Arteta has put together at Arsenal.
The Merseysiders will welcome the Gunners back to Anfield this evening for the second time in four days, with their latest meeting coming in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners on Monday night, ending Arsenal’s 100 per cent start to the new season.
Unlike most of their encounters with the Reds over the last few years, Arsenal gave a decent account of themselves in their last trip to Anfield.
And Klopp, like many others, admits has been impressed by what he’s seen of them under Arteta – who took charge of the north Londoners last December.

“Tonight will be hard – super hard,” Klopp wrote in his matchday column. “Again, without sounding like an Arsenal fan, I really love their squad and I love what they do at the moment.
“But I love us more. I love what we do. I love what we stand for and how we approach our work. I love the humility of our approach and our commitment to be better in each given moment.”
Klopp is expected to ring in the changes for tonight’s clash with the Gunners, much like he did in the same cup fixture last season.

Klopp said: “Last season in the same competition we produced a game that will be spoken about for a long time, I’m sure.
