Premier League clubs are expected to be busy in the transfer market in the coming days ahead of the transfer window slamming shut on October 5.
However, with the focus on bargains and loan signings in the next week, most clubs are not expected to roll the dice on big-name signings.
With budgets already cut across the English top flight, Premier League clubs may need to adjust their valuations of star players.

Werner is yet to get off the mark in the Premier League for Chelsea
20. TIMO WERNER – £57.6M
Chelsea signed Germany international Werner in a £47.5million move this summer after activating his release clause at RB Leipzig.
Despite failing to score in his first three league appearances for Frank Lampard’s side his value has edged up by just over £10m.
19. SON HEUNG-MIN – £57.6M
Son reminded Jose Mourinho of his importance to Tottenham with a sensational four-goal haul in the 5-2 Premier League win at Southampton earlier this month.
His value has rocketed after playing a key role for Spurs following his £14.5m move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.
18. RODRI – £57.6M
Manchester City midfielder Rodri established himself as a regular for Pep Guardiola’s side after his £72m move from Atletico Madrid last summer.
However, despite making 35 Premier League appearances in 2019/20, some indifferent performances have seen his value drop.
