Manchester United’s potential move for Barcelona ace Ousmane Dembele could work in Arsenal’s favour.
United have made just one signing this summer and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to reinforce in the final days of the window.
The transfer deadline is Monday with the Red Devils scrambling to get deals done before then.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is also keen to strengthen and has been linked with a move for Lyon creative midfielder Houssem Aouar.
AS claim that Barca are ready to sell Dembele for €50-60m while Nou Camp boss Ronald Koeman is keen on Lyon winger Memphis Depay.

And it’s not unreasonable to think that a move for Depay is more likely should Dembele leave the La Liga giants and head to Old Trafford.
That may work in Arsenal’s favour as Lyon may not be as desperate for a big fee for Aouar should they receive cash for Depay.
Though Arteta was tight-lipped when asked about how far along a deal for Aouar has come with Arsenal having had at least one bid rejected.
