Premier League champions Liverpool will face Arsenal for the second time in four days when the two teams meet in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s side defeated the Gunners 3-1 in the Premier League on Monday evening and will hope for more success on Thursday with a quarter-final place on the line.
Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal the lead over Liverpool in their recent clash but goals from Andy Robertson, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota saw the Reds come from behind and maintain their perfect start to the campaign.
Michael Owen expects both teams to ring the changes for the cup fixture but still believes Liverpool will come out on top.
The former Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid and England striker told BetVictor: ‘These two face-off for the second time in a week.
‘Liverpool were the winners in an enthralling encounter at Anfield on Monday and I think we could see more of the same here.
‘Arsenal caused Liverpool a few problems, but the Champions were just too good on the night.
