Arsenal may have been dealt a huge blow in their bid to land Lyon star Houssem Aouar.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the midfielder throughout this summer with Mikel Arteta desperate to improve his midfield.
But they are now up against it with reports in France claiming Serie A giants Juventus have made a move for Aouar.
According to RMC Sport, Juventus have made a formal approach for Aouar, who may only be available until the back-end of this week.

Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas recently told the media in France that if Aouar was not gone by Friday (October 2), he would not be leaving at all.
That seems to have sparked Juventus into action, though the report claims they haven’t actually submitted an offer, only made an approach.
That’s two reasons why Arsenal must act quickly if they do indeed want to land the Frenchman during this window.
Aouar could cost up to £45million with Lyon making it clear they want to keep him.
Arsenal are reportedly hoping to land him for £36.5million plus £9million in add-ons but they may need to agree sales of current players to raise the funds first.
