Chelsea boss Frank Lampard wants to make one last push for Declan Rice, which could pave the way for Jorginho to join Arsenal.
Lampard has identified Rice as a top transfer target in the summer window, yet West Ham reportedly value the 21-year-old at a staggering £73million.
The Blues must therefore stump up a huge bid to prise him away from their London rivals before next week’s transfer deadline.
Having already spent close to £230million this summer, though, Lampard may be forced to cash in on players before submitting an offer for Rice.

One star who could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge is Jorginho, with Arsenal reportedly eyeing up the Italy international amid their struggles to sign Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar.
The latter has reportedly agreed to join Mikel Arteta’s side, but they are still falling way below Lyon’s £54million asking price.
As a result, Arsenal are understood to be considering a cheaper alternative in Jorginho, who could be available this summer as Chelsea look to balance their books.
