Key transfer update could help Arsenal and Partey

Arsenal’s pursuit of Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey could be about to reach a climax.

The La Liga side are believed to be only willing to sell the 27-year-old in this transfer window if they can find a replacement. According to Culture PSG , reported target Idrissa Gueye is allowed to leave the French champions before the end of the window which could help Arsenal significantly.

A series of events often need to trigger into place for deals to get over the line and the availability of Gueye could really help Arsenal’s own transfer plans.

With less than two weeks left until the transfer deadline, this saga looks set to continue right until the end.
