Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar and Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey are among the players to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
So, here are the latest rumours in and around the club.
Key to Aouar deal
Offloading midfielders Mesut Ozil and Lucas Torreira will be key in Arsenal securing a deal for Lyon’s Houssem Aouar, according to Caught Offside.
The French club are said to be looking for a fee in the region of £59.9 million, a figure that is above the budget of Mikel Arteta’s team.
The club however could raise the funds by selling Ozil and Torreira, neither of which are expected to play a big part for the club this season.
Newcastle’s Chambers preference
Newcastle United would prefer to take Arsenal defender Calum Chambers on loan for the season, instead of forking out for a permanent move, according to the Mirror (via HITC ).
Arsenal are said to be looking for a fee of around £12 million should they cash in on Chambers this summer, with the Magpies interested after a deal for Rob Holding fell through.
However, Steve Bruce’s side would be more willing to do a deal should the player be available on loan after paying out for Callum Wilson and Jamal Lewis so far this summer.
