Arsenal are still working away to bring in new signings ahead of the October deadlines.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Lyon star Houssem Aouar is continuing, and reports claim they are edging closer to a deal.
In fact, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Aouar agreed a five-year deal with the Gunners two weeks ago, despite Lyon sporting director Juninho suggesting otherwise.
It’s reported Arsenal are yet to agree a deal with Lyon, but if they do, personal terms will already have been wrapped up.
Lyon have also decided not to stand in Aouar’s way if a deal can be agreed, according to reports in Italy,
Sokratis nears departure
Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has ‘an agreement in place’ to join Napoli.
That’s according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, who say almost everything is in place for the move to go through.

However, it’s reported Kalidou Koulibaly must leave before Sokratis completes his move.
The 32-year-old is very much expected to depart this summer, falling further down the pecking order following the arrival of Gabriel Magalhaes.
Blades interest in Balogun
Sheffield United remain interested in Gunners youngster Folarin Balogun, but he is not first choice.
According to the Sheffield Star, Chris Wilder has considered a move for Balogun, with rumours Sheffield United offered £3million for the USA frontman’s services.
