Arsenal made the ideal start to the 2020/21 Premier League campaign last weekend, defeating Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage.

Runarsson nears Arsenal move

Following the departure of Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa, Arsenal are keen to strengthen their goalkeeping options before the transfer window closes.

The club have been linked with signing Brentford goalkeeper David Raya but Icelandic shot-stopper Runar Alex Runarsson now appears to be a front-runner to be Bernd Leno’s deputy.

And according to a report by SBNation, Arsenal are closing in on Runarsson, with the goalkeeper reportedly in London for a medical.

Torino closing in on Torreira deal

Midfielder Lucas Torreira is edging closer to sealing his exit from the Emirates Stadium, with Italian outfit Torino locked in talks with the Gunners over a loan deal.
