Arsenal made the ideal start to the 2020/21 Premier League campaign last weekend, defeating Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage.
Goals from Alexandre Lacazette, debutant Gabriel Magalahes and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got the job done for Mikel Arteta’s side as they made light work of the newly-promoted Cottagers.
Despite having shown some very encouraging signs against Scott Parker’s troops, Arsenal continue to search for fresh faces to strengthen their squad. The likes of Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid and Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar are amongst those to be most closely linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, with Arteta looking to strengthen his midfield options before the window closes.

Runarsson nears Arsenal move
Following the departure of Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa, Arsenal are keen to strengthen their goalkeeping options before the transfer window closes.
The club have been linked with signing Brentford goalkeeper David Raya but Icelandic shot-stopper Runar Alex Runarsson now appears to be a front-runner to be Bernd Leno’s deputy.
And according to a report by SBNation, Arsenal are closing in on Runarsson, with the goalkeeper reportedly in London for a medical.
Torino closing in on Torreira deal
Midfielder Lucas Torreira is edging closer to sealing his exit from the Emirates Stadium, with Italian outfit Torino locked in talks with the Gunners over a loan deal.
According to the Daily Star, Torreira is attracting interest from the Serie A club and they are keen to strike a loan deal for his services.
