Arsenal have been active in the transfer window this summer and their biggest deal was announced on Tuesday, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penning a three-year deal.
That has issued the Gunners with a significant boost for the forthcoming season, bringing an end to the speculation that has floated around their captain for the past year.
Mikel Arteta’s work is not yet done though as he looks to land further additions in the transfer market, with a number of recruits being targeted.

£85m double swoop
Arsenal have turned their sights towards an incredible double deal ahead of the closure of the transfer window next month, with a potential £85m outlay.
The Mirror states the Gunners are looking to sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid and Houssem Aouar from Lyon to rejuvenate their midfield ranks.
However, Atletico are insisting that Partey’s release clause of around £50m is met and Lyon are seeking more than £40m for Aouar’s signature.
As such, Arsenal will need to sell to raise funds for these signings with Sead Kolasinac, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira free to leave, while Paris Saint-Germain have held an interest in Hector Bellerin.
No Aouar offer
Lyon’s transfer guru Juninho has stated that there have not been any offers so far this summer for Arsenal target Houssem Aouar or Memphis Depay, who is wanted by Barcelona.
Aouar was sent off during last night’s 1-0 defeat to Montpellier, which will put him out of action until after the transfer deadline closes next month.
