Arsenal and Aston Villa have agreed a deal for Emiliano Martinez.
As reported by Birmingham Live, the fee is said to be in the region of £20m and is set to undergo a medical later on today.
In addition, the Argentine is in line to start Villa’s first game of the new Premier League season against Sheffield United on Monday week.

The writing was effectively on the wall for Martinez after he was left out of the Gunners’ matchday squad against Fulham and Mikel Arteta confirmed the decision was transfer related.
“We have a special situation,” Arteta told BT Sport.
“Obviously the transfer market is open and we know all the rumours, so we made the decision to start Bernd [Leno] today.”
