Arsenal duo Dani Ceballos and Eddie Nketiah have patched things up after their heated encounter before today’s 3-0 win away at Fulham.
The Gunners got off to a winning start in their opening 2020/21 fixture, with goals from Alexandre Lacazette, new signing Gabriel Magalhaes and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealing a comfortable victory at Craven Cottage.
But prior to their dominant performance against the newly-promoted Cottagers, two of Mikel Arteta’s first-team stars were spotted by BT Sport cameras squaring up to each other in the pre-match warmup.
While taking part in a rondos, Ceballos appeared to lunge in on Nketiah before pushing the youngster away in frustration.

The rondos then continued, but Nketiah soon booted the ball at Ceballos’ legs and sparked another confrontation.
Arsenal stars were then forced to intervene and break the pair up in what were worrying scenes for the club before their Premier League curtain raiser.
Fortunately the squabble did not overshadow a classy Gunners performance – and Ceballos has now spoken out on social media.
But the pair have already patched things up
The Spain midfielder posted a picture on his Instagram story at Craven Cottage which shows him alongside Nketiah, who is giving a thumbs up to the camera.
“No problems here,” he wrote. “My brother”.
Arteta told his post-match press conference that he was inside at the time of the incident and therefore did not see what happened.

However, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand doesn’t think he would have any problem with it.
“This is part of it. I think at the end of the day, sometimes it gets heated,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
