Grêmio ended a six game losing streak on Thurday nightin Pituaçu by beating Bahia 2-0. For the first time in a while, in the 9th round of the Brasileirão, Grêmio were the more dominant side in most part of the game. The team from Rio Grande do Sul got their goals from Alisson and Darlan to get all the three point, which is thei first in a long period.

Bahia in the first half had a better game than Grêmio and created great chances to score, but Juninho and Gilberto wasted all the chaces they got. Alisson on the other hand, took his chance on his first try in the first half and didnt lose the chance of putting his team in the lead. His shot hit the post and went in opening the scoring for his side.
The goal gave Renato Gaúcho’s team the confidnce moving forward, created more chances but failed to capitalise.
