Agent confirms Arsenal interest

Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is very much a target for Arsenal this summer.

That’s according to Spanish outlet Sport, who say Raya’s agent Jaume Monell has informed them the Gunners have made their interest known.

Raya is being tipped to replace Emiliano Martinez, who is expected to depart as he looks for more regular game time.

Aston Villa are expected to land Martinez, while Raya is set to be keen on a move to Arsenal.

Lacazette latest

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is ‘delighted’ with interest shown by Atletico Madrid, according to Spanish outlet AS.

The Frenchman is reported to be a prime target for the La Liga side and has become the first choice striker for Diego Simone.

It is also claimed that Lacezette want to join the Spanish side ‘as soon as possible.’

But, and it’s a big but – Arsenal boss Arteta says Lacazette is more than happy at the Emirates Stadium.

He said: “He’s really happy here. He wants to keep contributing to the team. He knows about the competition with the strikers here.

“The way he’s been training has been excellent. I think he’s very happy here.”
