Kieran Tierney sends message to Arsenal fans about Hector Bellerin amid PSG transfer links

Arsenal full-back Kieran Tierney has said that Hector Bellerin was one of the first players to help him settle at the Emirates Stadium after his move from Celtic.

The Scotsman completed the move last summer, signing a five-year deal at the Emirates Stadium, although he endured an injury-hit first season at the club.

He made five Premier League appearances between the start of the campaign and the return of the league after lockdown.

However, the 23-year-old pushed on after the return, featuring in every game, including the FA Cup final victory over Chelsea.

Moving to Arsenal from Celtic, where he came up through the youth team, was a big move for the player, but he credits Bellerin with helping him to settle so quickly.

“Hector was the first one who kind of put his arm around me,” he told Ian Wright on his AFamilyThing series .
