Kayzer scores twice, and Atlético-GO beats Vasco in São Januário with emotion until the end in VAR decision

Atlético-GO came out victorious against Vasco beating them 2-1 on thursday night,in São Januário for the ninth round of the Brazilian Championship. After Cano opened up the scoring, Renato Kayzer scored twice to put his side to the lead.

in the closing stage of the game, the Argentina stiker’s last minute goal was overtuned after a review from VAR. Bruno Gomes was sent off before the final whistle for assaulting Matheus Vargas in the last hour.

with the victory against Vasco, Atlético-GO goes to 9 points leaving the relegation zone to 14th place. Vasco lost the chance to lip frog to second place and falls to 6th place on the table with 14 points.

Atlético-GO visit to Pituaçu to face Bahia next sunday for the 10th round of the Brasileirão. On that same day later in the evening Vasco will also face Botafogo, at Nilton Santos.
