Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette is not pleased by suggestions that he could be used by the Gunners in an attempt to sign Thomas Partey.
Arsenal have been consistently linked with a move for Atletico Madrid star Partey with the La Liga giants interested in Lacazette.
The French striker has two years remaining on his current deal at the Emirates though there is a thought he could be sold in order to raise funds.
Reports from Spain also suggested he could be used by the Gunners in an attempt to persuade Atletico to let go of Partey, though Lacazette is not happy with those claims.
Alexandre Lacazette’s future at Arsenal looks uncertain
He told L’Equipe: “If this is true, no, it does not please me. But what matters is the choice of the coach [Mikel Arteta], his confidence.
“He’s the one who makes the team, not the managers upstairs in the offices, and I know I have his confidence.
“I’m at Arsenal, I signed a five-year contract to progress and win titles. I have two years left. I am determined to stay.”

Mikel Arteta had opened up on Lacazette’s future ahead of the start of the Premier League with the Gunners facing Fulham on the opening weekend.
Arteta said: “He is really happy here, he wants to keep improving and contributing to the team.
“I know how good he is, the impact he is having. He knows about the competition he has with the front players, and again he needs to demand of himself to be the best striker at this football club, the same as the rest.
